Since 2018 Exposure and Opportunities LLC (dba as Parent Matterz™) has been on a mission to democratize access to life changing opportunities by exposing historically excluded populations to educational and career resources
Our Vision
We hope to provide all parents with an easy to follow, holistic system for educational success. Helping parents inspire their children is our primary mission.
Jumpstart ™
Created in 2021 to help students and their parents navigate the college process before entering their senior year of high school. Our students have collectively received over $1 million in scholarships.
Opportunity Expos
Created to enlighten, empower and expose historically excluded students and their families to limitless career and vocational opportunities.
Early Start Consulting
We believe the earliest years shape everything that follows. Launched in 2025, we work one-on-one with families, giving every parent our full attention and a plan built around their child, not a one-size-fits-all script. Through personalized guidance, individualized support, and a deep understanding of early childhood development, we help parents feel confident and equipped, not overwhelmed. Because when parents are supported, children thrive.
Jumpstart™: Preparing New Jersey’s Next Generation for College, Careers, and Life
Jumpstart is a college- and career-readiness bootcamp for middle and high school students. Created in 2021, it gives students the confidence, skills, and exposure they need to make informed decisions about their futures, and it helps parents start the college process well before senior year.

Now Serving Bergen County and Passaic County
Jumpstart started in Bergen County and now serves families in Passaic County, too, with a vision to reach students throughout New Jersey. Our summer program is an 8-day intensive, and our Fall Booster sessions keep students on track during the school year. Fall Booster sessions are free and open to high school students, freshmen through seniors, with 20 spots in each county.

Vanessa, Jumpstart Alum
Vanessa received the Jack Kent Cooke Scholarship, attended Harvard tuition-free, and was accepted to more than 20 colleges, including several Ivy League schools.
Jumpstart students have been accepted to and attended schools including Harvard, Cornell, the University of Pennsylvania’s Wharton School of Business, Northwestern, New York University, Spelman, Cooper Union, New Jersey Institute of Technology, Rutgers Business School, and Fairleigh Dickinson University.
Join Us This Fall
Our free Fall Booster sessions continue the work of our summer program. Students get help with college applications, SAT and ACT preparation, college research, and career planning, and they earn gift cards for attending. Space is limited to 20 students per county, and students must attend every session.

Why it Matters
It’s important to find and follow your passion in order to live your best life. Exposure programs can help you identify what you love and more importantly what you don’t like. This could eliminate years of the wrong major, college, profession etc. This search should begin in middle school… don’t wait until college. What does an educational consultant do?
An educational consultant, also called a higher education consultant, assists students and their parents in planning for college and financial aid.
When should we meet with you?
While we can step in to help a family at any point in their planning journey, the best time to contact us is in your student’s freshman year.
Can you guarantee that my child will get into their first choice school?
No one can ethically offer this guarantee. However, we can work with your child to shape their activities and application to give them their very best chance.
